Financial Times Ranks Sony Electronics Among Most Innovative Legal Departments

On November 3, The Financial Times announced its Most Innovative Lawyers for 2011. Sony Electronics Legal, our partner in development of the MetaJure Knowledge Hub, was one of three "Highly Commended" legal departments.

From a field of 272 submissions and based on interviews with over 300 lawyers and clients, fourteen legal departments were commended for innovative approaches to their work.

FT specifically recognized Sony for its development with MetaJure of software that "open[s] up its knowledge bank," significant increase in efficiency, and creativity in enhancing lawyers' business skills.
